“By the age of 18 I, Joep Maasdam, moved immediately to Amsterdam to develop my fashion, business, and creative knowledge and experience, to eventually build on a professional successful creative career afterwards. In four years time, I made it graduating honors (Cum Laude) from Fashion & Branding at the globally acknowledged university for fashion in the Netherlands - the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. Ane education where I mainly focused on a commercially experienced creative eye, to be able to highlight a brand’s key values in the most representative and commercial way.
I have been connected to FERAGGIO ever since 2015 when I did my internship for an international branding agency CMK1. I then already contributed with my creative organizational skills to launch the brand successfully, packed in one a big event and the experience of a campaign production in Cape Town, South Africa.
So 2015 is the year when Juliette de Vries and I met each other, and already knew there would be a future collaborating system with FERAGGIO in any way for sure. This is a company that I have seen growing from zero to the huge publicity it has gained until today.
Being a hardworking Visual Merchandiser for almost 6 years in the big Swedish fashion chain Hennes & Mauritz, during and after my demanding studies, do show my characteristic persistency and loyalty. After graduation and my commercial experience at H&M on a big scale, it was time to step up my game and prove my skills on a bigger impact. I started to work full-time for FERAGGIO, in January 2019.
With a background in creative direction, branding, business, and sustainable thinking, I am proud to now work for a company where we strive for innovation and constant development. There are too many brands around the globe that manipulatively sell a product without quality, usability and a long lifetime. FERAGGIO here won’t renounce to comfort when it comes to the elegant high-end pumps. This has been a non-existent USP until 5 years ago... when this brand was founded by Juliette de Vries, former CEO of Promotion Partners. This makes me sure - with her experience as a successful entrepreneur and my ambitious creativity - that FERAGGIO will go places and eventually, of course, will HEEL THE WORLD!
Something we, Juliette and I, are determined to obtain together. Being the ambitious and progressive protagonists that we are, both born on the 17th of March. Never ever that I had thought, to be business partners in such a leading fashion company, by the age of 25 already!”
